Prostituition (Sorry, I don't get it!)

Prostituition!!!_ So what does come to your mind when you read the word ‘Prostitution’? Nothing more than naked women pleasuring men. Right? Well its quite more than that.

One thing which I always admired about Indians are their stubborn mentality (which Is why I am here, ‘to change it’). Doesn’t matter they are right or wrong! They stick to something and keep it repeating and repeating that after a while it sounds like, yeah! he is right. And little more time passes and it turns into a ‘TREND’. Now the whole era follows it as a predefined rule from our grandfathers and since some old figure is involved, we don’t fight for what is right? And what is wrong?. That is how we Indian usually work. Prostitution(is very very very bad practice) is such one from many trends, ‘we Indians are following’.  It should be mentioned that Prostitution is the ‘world’s oldest profession’ and there should be some investment of respect from all of us for both the profession as well as the workers involved in it. Though, the legal status of prostitution varies from country to country, from being legal and considered a profession to being punishable by death.

You may be wondering, why suddenly the topic of ‘PROSTITUTION’? Two things, number one, Well its not suddenly, it always been there and never been picked up by almost any of us (way too scared).number two, way back down at my street, I saw a wonderful drama few days before. Let me share.
I saw a wife beating up a prostitute (supported by the whole society) who was obviously sleeping with her husband. Wow, I wonder whose fault was it? Three things to that lady_
1. At first, if you can’t make your hubby happy and moral enough, he will go up for hunt obvious (50% fault of wife).
2. And it’s your husband who called that lady on your bed, not that lady who is just following up the terms of her profession (50 % fault of man).
3. You better change you brain wirings rather than her face and show some respect to her and little disrespect to your man (0% fault of the prostitute).

As, Abraham Lincon said that there is nothing such exist as bad or good! Its all our MENTALITY(there is a huge message hidden in those words, try to grasp it).

One more thing about Indians! Every second grown up Indian objects, if the subject of sex education in schools and colleges should be discussed, parents put off their ‘TV’ whenever there is a commercial related to ‘SEX’, ‘AIDS’ or ‘Condom’(which they anyway learn from their X source with 100’s of wrong perceptions ) but don’t mind increasing the volume whenever “Shiela ki jawani(an Indian item song) pops up. We forget that some of the oldest and most erotic sculptures in the world are in India at the Khajuraho Temples(yeah i actually saw them), dating back to 950 to 1050 AD. The Kamasutra, the ancient Indian treatise on human sexual behavior was written sometime around the 2nd Century CE. With that kind of a past, we should be teaching the world about sex and not appear like giggling school children whenever this topic comes up.
To be clear_ I am not telling that prostitution is good? or bad? Neither that its great career for our youth. Its all that, prostitution is doing prostitution and its right on their own social terms and conditions.
Then what could be wrong? Things they are experimenting with prostitution are wrong. Say Eg. Child Prostitution.

Come on! And, at last its us who hook up thier head down and say...why India is not developing? Congress is useless! This corruption is what corroding our country! LOL, its not the fault of India, neither politics nor corruption. Its Indians, yeah right, ‘we are the main FAULT’,our mentality or way of approach is fault. And we need to change and if even a single indian gene gets my message, that what I am trying to convey, my mission accomplishes in that very moment.

I known I may receive a very mix response from all the readers of this post, but trust me, I would love to known what you guys think through your comments?

Glad i changed your angle for prostitution. Yeah u r right its not always women. stay connected. i hope u catch lot more from me.
thank you.
Few years back while reading an article on pakistani hindu community , it was then that I encountered with this word . There anti-hindus use to kidnap hindu girls n forcibly though them into the hell of prostitute markets but after a few research I found that condition of our country is not too different . The thinking , social approch of our people is quite restrained . They have build wall of Ignorance around then and feel delighted by sharing gossip new among groups but they feel it a shame to talk about it . Its a kind of society we live in . Things need to be changed drastically . I heartily welcome the effort of editor , who took the first step n bought our focus to this point .

Hello Abhi,
First of all,i thank you for encouraging my little approach to this point. And, i do agree that conditions are worst than ever before in our land and it may keep going like this unless someone take a stand(and someone wont be thrown by jesus from the sky to our land to save our society, we ourselves have a responsibility to do as much as we can, i am doing my bit to create awareness).
People are experimenting hell lot of things with this profession and since its a lot of population and unemployment through out these countries...people are compelled to do,such things.
change should be brought from the very basic layer of India society...such as deployment and population control.
thank you for stopping @ my blog and sharing your thought.Stick around to encourage.
hi deepika
there is no need for thanks because I only applauded your efforts because it was you , who tried something new n I too did few research works few months after my under-graduation n found that people don't love changes n was really shocked to see teenagers thinking in the same way as there parents did , I was fearing updating such things may lead me against the society or may be I become an anti social element . It was only after entring graduation n seeing girls subjected to unwanted disturbance from the naughty elements , I decided to oppose . Now , I am least concerned what people feel abt me n I enjoy my work .

@bh¡
@ abhi, it is really wonderful to known that there are also people like you, who are contributing there career part to society to bring positive reforms.
After reading your part, i recall a quote by Robin Sharma(leader who had no title)_We never have to worry by seeing people who are criticizing us(they only provide you the intellectual fuel that noone can else in the world can provide you and they are the sign that you are positively growing), you only need to worry when they are not criticizing(showing something is wrong, they are no more jealous!!).
